Delete branch "docs/socket-run-dir-refs"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
Fixes the two residual references that still put the herdr socket inside a config directory:
docs/wiki/freebsd-remote-attach.mddocs/UPGRADE-0.9.1.mdBoth now use the canonical runtime-dir form from
AGENTS.md:<host-root>/run/herdr.sockwhenCLAWDIE_HOST_ROOTis set, otherwise$XDG_RUNTIME_DIR/herdr/herdr.sockor/tmp/herdr-<uid>/herdr.sock- never a config dir.This closes the residual that contradicted the host-path rule (colibri #101). bherdr #38 fixed the code (
internal/paths/paths.go) but left these two docs;UPGRADE-0.9.1.mdalso declares "no machine-specific ... persistent paths", so the old absolute path violated its own rule.Paired with colibri #106 (socket call map). Two-line change;
