Clawdie Web Properties Monorepo

Welcome to the unified web properties repository for the Clawdie sovereign computing ecosystem.

This repository manages the canonical documentation surfaces, agent manuals, manifestos, and public landing portals for the Clawdie project using an npm workspaces monorepo powered by Astro 6.4 and Starlight 0.40. This is the current tested baseline for building in the FreeBSD CMS jail.

websources is an internally governed documentation and publishing repository. It owns the presentation and intake surfaces here; Colibri, bherdr, zot, agent-skills, and clawdie-iso remain authoritative for their own implementation, API, operational, and release contracts. A published page is not an approval or deployment authority.

Folder ≠ domain. The workspace directory name is a short label, not the hostname. Use the Domain and npm name columns above to tell the surfaces apart. External, non-workspace surfaces (samob.clawdie.si portfolio, clawdie.ai, ai.clawdie.si) are intentionally not tracked in this monorepo.

Default locale differs per site (intended). The public portal serves English at / with locales at /sl/ /de/ /hr/ /ba/ /sr/ (English-first policy). The OSA manifesto instead serves Slovenian at / with English and the rest at /en/ /de/ /hr/ /ba/ /sr/. This is deliberate: the portal follows the English-first rule, OSA is Slovenian-native. Do not "normalize" one to match the other.

Quick Start

Prerequisites

• Node.js:
  • Compatibility floor (>=22.12.0): Required by Astro 6.4.8, declared in root package.json engines.node (advisory to npm), and enforced by npm run check:node across the root preinstall, prebuild, check:all, build:*, and dev:* scripts (Node 20 is unsupported).
  • Project & CI baseline (Node 24): Pinned in .nvmrc (24) and enforced as the required major version (v24.*) by .forgejo/workflows/ci.yml on the Linux host-mode runner.
• npm: v10.x+
• Python: 3.10+ (for boundary and link verification scripts)
• Build OS: Linux CI builds all five workspaces. Astro 6.4.8 / Starlight 0.40.0 also passed a disposable FreeBSD-jail build. We stepped down from Astro 7 because the tested Astro 7 markdown pipeline requires satteri_napi.freebsd-x64.node, unavailable in that FreeBSD environment; see sites/docs/src/content/docs/web-stack/osa-astro-upgrade-baseline.md.

Installation

Install all workspace dependencies from the repository root:

npm install

Local Development

Run a local development server for a specific web property:

Editorial Policy: English First

All technical documentation, agent guides, and operational runbooks are authored in English first. English is the canonical source of truth at the root of each documentation tree. Localized translations (Slovenian, Croatian) are strictly maintained downstream and updated only after the English source has been approved and polished.
