Clawdie agent skills
Version-controlled, cross-agent skills and small bridges used by Clawdie's agent tooling.
Current skills:
-
context7retrieves current, version-specific library documentation and caches it in OpenViking. -
shared-memoryprovides backend-neutral Linux/FreeBSD operational guidance and read-only diagnostics for shared agent memory. OpenViking is the current backend; Oxigraph remains a planned Colibri projection. -
bare-metal-ilocovers HP ProLiant out-of-band management: which of the four interfaces (Redfish, IPMI, SMASH CLP, RIBCL) to use for a given task, the firmware gate, and power/thermal telemetry. -
documentation-workflowstandardizes ownership-aware wiki, README, translation, gate, and cross-repository documentation work. -
multilingual-content-reviewprovides focused review guidance for multilingual manifesto and landing-page copy. -
jev-triageprovides bounded, read-only classification and prioritization for agent handoffs, TODOs, review comments, and proposed changes. -
hooksprovides the read-only Herdr update preflight skill, which gathers upgrade evidence and requires an operator decision before any mutation. -
forge-opsprovides evidence-based Forgejo PR, Actions, runner, and host-mode CI verification before merge. -
astro-starlightcovers Astro + Starlight build/deploy pitfalls, including correct component override placement (head vs body) and layout-shift/FOUC diagnosis viaparse5. -
astro-starlight-deployscaffolds and configures Astro Starlight documentation sites, including multilingual i18n and build verification. -
vercel-deploycovers reusable Vercel authentication, Forgejo Actions deployment, and independent deployment verification. -
image-redactionsanitizes sensitive information (emails, tokens, internal IPs) in screenshots with irreversible Gaussian blur before public sharing. -
report-opening-sceneadds a grounded fictional scene or captioned video as the last editorial step before final report verification. -
voice-reportgenerates deterministic zero-token audio briefings from verified daily reports. -
daily-reportstandardizes end-to-end daily engineering report production, including multi-locale synchronization, audio encoding hygiene (libmp3lame24kHz mono re-encoding),xfadevideo mastering, and deterministic policy gates. -
typesafe-aicovers System One models (including Jev), composable multimodality, bounding box localization, and fast typed semantic judgments under fail-closed security gates. -
freebsd-jail-opsprovides the non-interactive FreeBSD Bastille jail lifecycle and root-tmux execution runbook (preventing hidden prompts,;-chained hangs, and bare production jail collisions).
Current boundary
- Context7 is the upstream source of documentation.
- This repository is the source of truth for the skill and bridge code.
- OpenViking is a rebuildable cache/projection, not the canonical source.
- Debby is the currently supported OpenViking deployment.
- Remote-host sharing is not enabled yet; it requires a reachable, authenticated OpenViking service and a host deployment decision.
- This repository does not implement Colibri's future memory API.
Install
Requirements: Python 3.10+, ov from OpenViking 0.4.x, and network access
for npx -y ctx7 on the first lookup.
./install.sh --target agents
This installs or updates all repository skills under ~/.agents/skills/.
Before installing, run ./install.sh --target agents --check to inspect the
configured targets without creating directories or backups. It prints current
for a symlink to this checkout and reports missing, stale non-symlink, or wrong
and broken symlink installations. Exit status is 0 only when all requested
skills match; 1 means at least one mismatch (2 is invalid usage).
AGENT_SKILLS=jev-triage ./install.sh --target agents --check checks just that
skill. --check and --force cannot be combined. Checking the symlink target
is not a live provider test, and an already-running agent may need a restart
to reload the updated skill instructions.
The installer never overwrites an unrelated existing skill directory; without
--force it refuses to replace one. With --force, the replaced path is
archived to
${XDG_STATE_HOME:-~/.local/state}/agent-skills/backups/<skill>/<timestamp>/
with user-private permissions and collision-safe unique names — never inside a
scanned skill directory, where a <name>.backup-<timestamp> entry would
register as a duplicate skill (startup [Skill conflicts] warnings). Backups
are retained indefinitely: review them with ls and prune with rm -rf once
the active skills work; the installer never deletes them itself.
For Hermes, use the explicit target when its skill search path is configured:
./install.sh --target hermes
The default target is agents; use --target both only when both runtimes
are configured to read those locations.
Run the installer self-test in an isolated temporary HOME (it never touches real skill directories or the real home):
sh scripts/test-install.sh
It proves the incident invariant: a forced reinstall leaves only the active skill entry in each scanned root, with the replaced content archived under the state directory.
Context7 workflow
context7/ovctx stat /ratatui/ratatui "layout constraints"
context7/ovctx pull /ratatui/ratatui "how to define layout constraints"
The bridge records source_ref, derived_at, derivation_method,
expires_at, upstream update metadata, and a content hash. It waits for
OpenViking's asynchronous resource import to become readable before reporting
success. Cached documents are projections and should be refreshed after their
expiry.
Status
The Colibri memory API, Oxigraph projection, multi-host OpenViking access, and automatic deployment to remote agents are future work. Do not treat the current local cache as a replacement for that design.
